Investigators of the Russian MIA Administration for the Amur Region together with officers of the regional FSB detained the second defendant in the case on embezzlement of about 273 million rubles allocated to the construction of the Vostochny Cosmodrome facilities.

A criminal case on the embezzlement of funds intended for the construction activities at the “Vostochny” Cosmodrome has been initiated in the Amur Region
“A criminal case on the embezzlement on an especially large scale has been initiated in the Amur Region against the CEO of the company performing work at the “Vostochny” Cosmodrome,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
Director of commercial entity responsible for work package at Vostochny Cosmodrome was convicted in Amur Region
“The court in the Amur Region found guilty the director of a commercial entity that had been responsible for a package of works performed at the Vostochny Cosmodrome,” said Russian MIA official representative Irina Volk.
