Russian and Lithuanian police discussed issues of cooperation in the field of combating illegal migration
Today in Kaliningrad within the frame of the third meeting of the Operative Committee of the Personal Representatives of the Council of Baltic Sea States (CBSS), there took place a working meeting of representatives of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs with their colleagues from Lithuania.
Officers of the MIA Administration for the Kaliningrad Region blocked a large channel of amber export to Lithuania
“Officers of the General Administration for Economic Security and Combating the Corruption of the MIA of Russia eliminated an illegal channel of exporting abroad raw amber included in the list of strategically important resources,” said the MIA official representative Irina Volk.
Accompanied by officers of the MIA of Russia National Central Bureau of Interpol, the accused of drug trafficking was extradited from Lithuania
A native of Petrov, Volgograd Region, Alexei Bondarenko, accused of committing a crime stipulated by Part 3 of Art. 228.1 of the RF Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was extradited from Lithuania.
