On April 9, a woman came to the police, who reported that at 4 p.m. approximately near Lanskoye Road, 27, an unknown person, the "Kia" car driver, during the conflict, punched her 10-year-old son on the head, and then threw the boy’s scooter at him. After that he has disappeared. As a result of the unlawful actions of an unknown person, medical assistance required.
"After receiving the message, the police took all the necessary steps to identify and detain the suspect, officers of the MIA General Administration for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region were directed to his search. The signs of the unidentified man and the car were handed over to policemen of the Patrol and Inspection Service and Road Police inspertors, to the territorial police departments,"- added Irina Volk.
As a result of the taken measures, the suspect of was identified within 24 hours. Last night, a precinct with the authority of Russian MIA in Primorsky district detained the alleged attacker. The Russian MIA Administration for Inquiry in Primorsky district a criminal proceeding was instituted on the basis of the evidence of crime for Paragraph "a" of Part 1 of Art.213 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
The man was detained on the basis of Art.91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Russia.
At present, the criminal proceeding was transferred to General Administration of Investigation of the Investigative Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg for further investigation.
