Accused of murder for hire was extradited to Russia

"Zhaldak Konstantin, born in 1969, will be escorted from Hungary by officers of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Russian MIA and of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service. He is accused of committing a crime prescribed by clause "3", part 2, article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," said Russian MIA official representative Irina Volk.

The figurant was wanted on charges of murder for hire committed in 2013 in order to receive a cash reward of 20 thousand euros.

On this fact, a criminal proceeding was started. Due to the fact that Zhaldak disappeared after the commission of the crime, at the request of Russian MIA in the Kaliningrad region, he was put on the wanted list by the Interpol.

As a result of operational activities, the accused was detained on the territory of Hungary.

Today, having to grant the request of the General Prosecutor Office of the Russian Federation for extradition, the competent authorities of Hungary transferred the figurant to officers of the NCB of Interpol of the Russian MIA and of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service to carry out his extradition to Moscow.
