“Officers of the Internal Security of the MIA General Administration for the Rostov Region within the framework of activities aimed at preventing the discrediting of police officers documented the fact of bribing of a senior investigator of the Investigation Administration of the MIA Interdistrict Administration ‘Novocherkasskoye’ by an entrepreneur,” said the MIA official representative Irina Volk.
The individual entrepreneur offered the investigator 2,000,000 rubles as an illegal remuneration for not bringing him and his accomplices to criminal responsibility.

“The Chiefs of the MIA General Administration assigned officers of its security unit to exposing the bribe-giver. At the time of transferring 390 thousand rubles, which was the first part of the previously promised amount, the offender was detained,” said Irina Volk.
The material of the preliminary check was sent to the investigative authorities for decision making pursuant to Art. 144-145 of the RF Code of Criminal Procedure.
