Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation General of Police of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev arrived today in Managua heading the Russian delegation that will take part in the official ceremony of the inauguration of President-elect of the Republic of Nicaragua José Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice-President of the Republic of Nicaragua Rosario María Murillo Zambrana.
The Chief of the Russian MIA will hold a meeting with President of the Republic Daniel Ortega where they will discuss issues of the Russian-Nicaraguan collaboration and the cooperation between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries.
Besides, there are meetings of Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev with acting Director General of the National Police of the Republic of Nicaragua Francisco Javier Díaz Madriz and Commander-In-Chief of the Nicaraguan Army General of the Army Julio César Avilés Castillo planned within the official visit.
In addition, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation will visit the Training Center of the Russian MIA in Managua that will teach employees of the competent bodies of the countries in Central America and the Caribbean specializing in fight against illegal drug trafficking. Vladimir Kolokoltsev will check the readiness of the Center for the beginning of the training process.
