Investigators of the Investigation Unit of the General Investigation Administration of the Russian MIA General Administration for the Irkutsk Region accomplished the investigation of the criminal case on the fact of complicity in sale of a large batch of narcotic substances.
The charge with the felony was filed against a 22-year old citizen of a Central Asian country. Policemen found nearly 10 kilograms of prepacked heroin in his car.
The batch of drugs removed from illegal trafficking contained over 20,000 conventional doses.
Its probable value could exceed 16 million rubles.
The drug dealer's detention was held on the highway near Angarsk. The operations were performed by employees of the General Administration for Drug Control of the Russian MIA together with colleagues from the Russian MIA General Administration for the Irkutsk Region. In the course of the inspection of the foreign-made car, the policemen with the help of a police dog detected a gym bag containing 17 packets with a powdery substance. According to the examination, the seized substance was heroin.
The investigation bodies collected conclusive evidence of the guilt of the detainee. For that purpose, the investigation bodies held a range of required expert examinations, including genetic, biological, chemical and fingerprint analyses. The police also established that a fee of 100,000 rubles had been promised to the detainee for his criminal complicity.
The man is currently in the investigation cell. The criminal case initiated based on essential elements of a crime stipulated Part 5 Article 33, Part 3 Article 30 and Part 5 Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation has been sent to the Angarsk Municipal Court for consideration on the merits.
