Igor Zubov met with the Head of the Czech Police

Today, at the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Zubov and the President of the Police of the Czech Republic Tomas Tuhy discussed issues of inter-agency cooperation in the field of law enforcement.

At the working meeting, the main topic was the development of the Russian-Czech cooperation in the fields of combating the organized crime, drug trafficking, money laundering, illegal migration, terrorism and extremism.

The sides positively assessed the work through the Interpol and noted the need for closer cooperation in the exchange of experience.

Addressing the Czech counterpart, Igor Zubov noted the positive dynamics of mutual relations in the field of law enforcement and underlined the need for the further consolidation and optimization of efforts to combat the international crime. He also spoke about the ongoing structural changes in the Russian MIA, drawing the attention to their scope and versatility.

In his turn, Tomasz Tuhy thanked for the friendly welcome and expressed his intention to support and develop the collaboration of the two agencies. In addition, he praised the work of the Russian MIA and its approach to security issues and invited representatives of the Russian police to the Czech Republic for a more detailed study of issues of organizing the further fruitful cooperation.
