Children's inspector of the Department of the Russian MIA for the Khabarovsky District Police Major Svetlana Nikitina and precinct police officer Police Captain Ramil Kadyrov assisted a woman to deliver a healthy child.

In the past weekend, the policemen carried out preventive operations in village Sikachi-Alyan of the Khabarovsky District. In the course of the raid, they visited a multi-child family. The house owner, 33-year old Viktoria Donkan, was at home with her children and was nine months pregnant.

Talking to the policeman, Viktoria complained of lower abdominal pain. The policemen called an ambulance, but the birth started before doctors arrived.

Police Major Svetlana Nikitina, mother of two children, was not taken aback and assisted in childbirth before the arrival of doctors. She pinched the umbilical cord and opened the baby's airway. Police Captain Ramil Kadyrov did what he can to help his colleague.

The girl was delivered weighing 3 kg and 50 cm tall. This is the fifth child in Viktoria's family. The ambulance took the newborn girl and her mother to the hospital. According to doctors, the policemen provided quite qualified medical aid to the woman in childbirth.

Today, the policemen visited the happy mother and the baby who left the hospital, congratulated them on the addition to their family and presented gifts to them.

- I express my gratitude to Svetlana Nikitina and Ramil Kadyrov for their visit to my house that day and for their help. I could never stop being thankful to the policemen! I decided to name my daughter Svetlana, said Viktoria.
