The day before at about 15:00, chief of the private security battalion detention group of the MIA Administration for the Kamchatka Territory Mikhail Poshivaylov and the PSB platoon driver Artem Shuvaev, moving along the patrol route near a residential house number 31 in Korolev Street of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, noticed smoke on its upper floors. The police came closer to the house and saw the boy who called for help from the open window of an apartment on the fourth floor. The police reported the incident to the control desk of the PSS duty-officer, called an ambulance and broke down the door to get into the flaming apartment.
Law enforcers found the boy and carried him outside. The police provided first aid to the seven year old Timur, who had inhaled biting fumes, waited for the arrival of an ambulance and handed the child to doctors. Firefighters arrived and the fire was localized and extinguished.
Currently, police officers and other experts investigate the cause of fire occurred. Doctors assess the boy's condition as satisfactory.
