The Russian MIA Administration for Magnitogorsk of the Chelyabinsk Region held an Open Day timed to all-Russian campaign “Students' Descent”. The event was attended by chairs of the Council of Veterans and the Public Council under the Russian MIA Administration for Magnitogorsk Vladimir Palamarchuk and Alexandr Razumny.
Assistant Chief of the Administration, Chief of the HR Division of the Russian MIA Administration for Magnitogorsk Colonel of the Internal Service Leonid Patrashov was the first to address the audience. He spoke of the main areas of service in the police, of sports achievements of policemen of Magnitogorsk and of the process of formation of the internal affairs bodies of Magnitogorsk.
Employees of the HR Division told the audience about the requirements for entrance to the universities of the MIA system, about the benefits granted to policemen, and about the basic rights and duties of employees of the internal affairs bodies.
At the end of the meeting, employees of the Special Purpose Police Unit organized an exhibition of combat weapons in the museum of the MIA Administration. “We have been bringing specimens of various weapons to the Administration for several years. Visitors are especially interested in new specimens of SR-Series weapons: this is a SR2M pistol and a SR3M compact submachine gun”, said Senior Weapons Technician of the Special Purpose Police Unit of the Russian MIA General Administration for the Chelyabinsk Region (stationed in Magnitogorsk) Police Senior Lieutenant Sergei Kopytov.
The event concluded with a tour of the Museum of the History of the Internal Affairs Administration.
