Traffic Police inspectors in Ivanovo together with the pupils painted safe routes to schools

In Ivanovo before the beginning of the new school year, the Traffic Police together with the school-students held the campaign "Footprints of safety." During a joint walk around the city Traffic inspectors showed children the safest route to school, and told about the basic rules of road safety for young pedestrians.

The event took place on busy streets of Ivanovo. Marshal Vasilevsky Street was chosen for a reason: there are three schools and four kindergartens in it. The intensity of traffic in this area is high, because the nearby road connects two major highways of Ivanovo.

To ensure that the school-students have not forgotten the safe route until September 1, the police offered to leave on the pavement a special reminder - drawn footprints. Armed with cans of paint and stencils, the pupils with great interest went to work. The children with  Traffic inspectors made on the asphalt human footprints. On the Day of Knowledge, these unusual "signs" will  send the children on the safest route to school.

The Traffic Police told the action participants about the meaning of road markings and road signs,  reminded them of the need to use reflective elements in the evening and at night.
