Investigators of the Internal Affairs Administration of the Central Administrative District of the MIA General Administration for the City of Moscow sent to court a criminal case against the former head of the financial and economic department of the company engaged in the retail trade in household electrical goods, radio and television equipment, charging him with fraud committed on a large scale.

As established during the investigation, the defendant in the period from 2010 to 2013 posed as the representative of the initiator of the tender commission meeting on the renewal of a contract for acquiring services with one of the largest commercial organizations, selling household appliances of foreign manufacturers. As a result, he concluded with the management of the organization a number of fictitious contracts for implementation by the controlled by him legal entities of works, allegedly related to the technical support of gift cards.

In fact, they did not perform the respective activities, and all of the transferred money was appropriated by the defendant. The total damage from the activities of the mentioned organizations exceeded 200 million rubles.

As it turned out, at the time the police  received the information about the committed  crime, the defendant was already in custody within the frame of another criminal case.

In July of this year, the former head of the financial and economic department of the company engaged in the retail trade in electrical household appliances and radio and television devices, was charged with committing a crime stipulated in the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - "Fraud".

At present, the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to the Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow.
