Today, Assistant Minister of Internal Affairs Lieutenant Colonel of Police Elena Alekseeva in the building of the Ministry held a press-conference in the video conferencing mode with all the regions of the country. Media representatives presented a memo that will help citizens understand how to make a safe Selfy.

Also the event was attended by Chief of the Administration for organization of protection of public order  in the residential sector and the activities of implementing the administrative law, Police Colonel of the General Administration for the Protection of Public Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Elena Novoseltseva.

"Along with all the advantages of the modern world there appear new threats. We would like to remind the citizens that the chase for "likes" in social networks can lead to the road of death. The accident reports periodically present information about  sad accidents with lovers of selfies, "- said Elena Alekseeva.

The Police will hand out this memo to citizens at public events, to pupils and students at the lessons of safety and legal awareness, as well as during the departmental summer actions.
