In the Center of social and psychological assistance to families and youth of the city of Birobidzhan, the Police held an action timed to the International Day against Drug Addiction and Drug Trafficking. The campaign gathered more than a hundred children from the regional center,  vacationing in ethno-cultural camp of the Center and in other school camps.

Organizers of the event - representatives of all the actors of prevention activities: police, drug control, DOSAAF, health, education, and members of the Public Council with the MIA Administration in the Jewish Autonomous Region.

As part of the event they organized for children  various educational stations - "Healthy Food", "Sport", "Dance", "Game room", "Shot of Cheerfulness", "Tennis" and others.

At the station, "In a healthy body - healthy mind" the children were met by police and a representative of DOSAAF, who offered to teenagers disassembling and assembling a Kalashnikov. The girls here were successfully competing with boys.

Doctors  told the children about the organization of the day, the use of vitamins and healthy nutrition. The athletes held  different competitions.

Having visited each of the stations, teenagers saw the numerous wonderful and useful occupations for which they could spend their leisure time.

The event organizers are sure that the genuine interest of children to a variety of creative activities confirms that the purpose of the action - to offer an alternative to bad habits - has been achieved.
