Officers of the General Investigation Administration of the MIA General Administration for the Volgograd Region investigated and sent to court a criminal case brought against nine residents of the Region on charges of paricipation in a criminal group and illegal sale of drugs.
On January 2012, a 27-year-old resident of the city of Volgograd created in the city a criminal organization under his leadership for the illegal sale of the so-called "salt" and heroin in the Volgograd Region, Krasnodar Territory, Saratov Region, Voronezh and Tambov regions.
In April 2013, the activities of the criminal group was suppressed by officers of the Criminal Investigation Administration of the MIA General Administration for the Volgograd Region. All the participants were detained after another attempt to sell heroin in the Voroshilov District of Volgograd.
The Police conducted searches at the places of residence of defendants, during which they seized 35 bundles with heroin and 131 bundles with the "salt", mobile phones, intended for communication and for sending SMS messages about the location of caches of wholesale consignments of drugs, bank cards, notebooks with handwritten notes on caches location, SIM cards of different mobile operators, packing materials. In several districts of Volgograd in the caches the Police found more than 50 batches of drugs.
In total, members of the group received an illegal income of more than 4 million rubles.
At the moment the criminal case has been sent to the court.
