An accused of a series of thefts has been extradited from Spain

Spanish authorities on the request of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation extradited to Russia Viskhan Dzhabayev, born in 1978, who is accused of committing an offense under paragraph "c" of Part 3 of Art. 158, paragraph "a, b, c" of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of Russia.

The defendant was declared wanted on the initiative of the MIA for the Republic of Udmurtia on charges of committing thefts of motorcycles, motor boats and accessories in the period from 2008 to 2009 as part of a criminal group.

In the course of the criminal investigation, it was found that the accused left the Russian Federation, in connection with which he was announced wanted by the Interpol.

As a result of search operations the defendant was located and detained in the territory of the Kingdom of Spain.
