The Nakhodka city court convicted an active member of an organized group - a 25-year-old resident of the city of Nakhodka engaged in drug trafficking in the city.
Illegal activities of the members of the group was stopped by a special operation of the Nakhodka city police and representatives of the FSB Department in the Primorsky Territory in 2014. Investigative units of the MIA Division for the city of Nakhodka initiated a criminal case under the RF Criminal Code article "Illegal manufacture, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, committed by a group of people on a large scale."
The offender and three group members for a year stored and sold synthetic drugs known as "Flour", "Ice", "Speed". They received prohibited substances from East Asia by post. Purchase and sale operations were carried out using special SMS-messages and an e-wallet in the Internet. After the transfer of funds, the buyer was sent a message on the location of a cache with a narcotic substance.
As part of the criminal investigation the Police established that the young man was responsible for the technical support of the process of drug trafficking. In addition, using his special knowledge of programming, he ensured the secrecy of illegal activities. In his residence the Police seized bank cards and mobile phones.
The court sentenced the man to 11 years of imprisonment in a penal colony of strict regime.
