In Vologda a man was charged with 19 facts of fraud

Officers of the Criminal Investigation of the MIA Administration for the Vologda Region and of the regional FSB department received from the Federal Migration Service of the Region operative information that a man for remuneration offered residents of CIS countries to illegally obtain the citizenship of the Russian Federation. He assured his customers that he was in mutually beneficial relationship with the chiefs of the FMS regional administration.

As a result of a check, the information on fraudulent activities was confirmed. To detain the suspect officers of the MIA Administration for the Vologda Region with the support of SWAT servicemen held a special operation. The offender was detained.

It turned out that through diaspora representatives in other Russian cities, he used to find immigrants from CIS countries, trying to get the Russian citizenship. The man offered assistance for a fee of 50 to 100 thousand rubles.

After receiving the money, the offender delivered fake documents and then disappeared. It was preliminary established that he fraudulently stole about 2 million rubles.

Now the Investigation Administration f the MIA Administration for the Vologda Region has charged the man with committing 19 cases of fraud causing a significant damage.
