In the Krasnodar Territory criminal investigation officers detained a suspect of committing a series of frauds
Criminal investigators of the Police Division for the Karasunsky District of the MIA Administration for the city of Krasnodar have detained previously convicted 32-year-old local resident suspected of fraud at the organization of car sale.
The malefactor, posing as an employee of a showroom, offered his acquaintances assistance in selling their vehicles at very competitive prices. Car owners without any doubt handed their cars and the necessary documents proving their ownership to the malefactor. After a successful search for a buyer and sale of vehicles, the man appropriated the money. Thus, over the last few months he has sold three foreign cars. The amount of damage caused to the victims amounted to about 3 650 000 rubles.
At the moment a criminal investigation of the fact of theft is initiated. The Police check the detainee for involvement in similar offenses.
