A criminal case on the industrial gold theft was forwarded to the court in the Irkutsk Region
Investigators of Intermunicipal Division “Bodaybinsky” of the Russian MIA completed the investigation of the criminal case initiated in October 2014 on the fact of theft of a large lot of industrial gold nuggets and forwarded the case to the court.
The theft of precious metal committed by employees of a gold mining enterprise of the Bodaybinsky District was detected by policemen of the Division for Economic Security in the course of investigative work.
The investigation established that the three employees of the enterprise aged from 25 to 45 had been periodically stealing gold, and its total weight approximated 300 grams. The damage caused by the malefactors to the enterprise exceeded 470 thousand roubles.
