Investigators of the MIA Administration for the city of Vladivostok have completed the investigation of the criminal case against members of an organized group suspected of committing a series of frauds in the lending sphere.
During the preliminary investigation it was found that a 38-year-old resident of Vladivostok in 2012 created an organized group. He involved six residents of Primorye in the illegal activity. In order to obtain large loans defendants registered "anonymous" companies to the names of non-working participants of the group, produced false certificates 2-PIT and employment records. To Primorye credit institutions there was submitted false information about the financial status and activities of the companies headed by the malefactors.
In due time the required amount came to the accounts of the companies, but, subsequently, the borrowers - members of an organized group did not fulfill their obligations to the creditor bank and the money was not returned. Thus, the defendants caused a damage to banking institutions amounting to more than 10 million rubles.
The activity of the group was suppressed in 2013 during a special operation conducted by employees of the Division of Economic Security and Combating the Corruption of the MIA Administration for the city of Vladivostok. A criminal case was initiated with regard to the fact of fraud in lending.
The investigators collected evidence linking the detainees to the theft of money by way of knowingly presenting to the banks false and inaccurate information, committed by an organized group on a very large scale. The criminal case was sent to court.
