In the morning in Naberezhnye Chelny the staff of the Patrol and Inspection Service received a report on a fire in one of the apartments.
By the arrival of the Patrol and Inspection Service crew, some residents of the house, on the ground floor of which there was a fire in an apartment, managed to get evacuated and were trying to help their neighbors.
According to the Police, the entrance was filled with heavy smoke and they had to move to the touch. It was impossible to enter the apartment through the door because of the flame.
But in the burning apartment there remained a boy of seven, who was calling for help. Serviceman of the detached battalion of the Patrol and Inspection Service of the MIA Administration for Naberezhnye Chelny Police Ensign Alexander Gerasimov was able to penetrate into the burning room through the adjacent balcony. The Policeman picked-up the boy and through the window passed him over into the hands of his colleague Police Ensign Arthur Shaikhutdinov.
