Based on the criminal case materials collected by the Police, the court convicted a 24-year-old resident of the regional center for fraud in the sale of spare parts via the Internet.
The young man in September 2012 posted on a dedicated website an announcement of selling auto parts. The malefactor offered spare parts of low prices and promised a fast delivery. At the same time, he demanded from the buyer a one hundred percent prepayment to a bank account. The amount of damages to victims ranged from 2 to 70 thousand rubles.
The customers transferred the money to the "entrepreneur" but did not receive their orders, after which they applied to the Police for help. The identity of the Internet-seller was established, and then he was detained by Criminal Investigation officers.
A criminal case has been initiated on the facts of fraud. It has been established that the malefactor cheated 43 people. The total amount of the damage exceeded one million rubles.
The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to conditional imprisonment for 4 years and 4 months.
