In the Chelyabinsk Region there was opened a memorial plaque to Militia Colonel Ivan Moskalenko

In the MIA Division for the Korkinsky District there was opened a memorial plaque in memory of Militia Colonel Ivan Moskalenko, who served in Militia for more than 30 years. The ceremony was attended by chiefs of units and employees of the Division, veterans of Internal Affairs, members of the Public Council with the MIA Division for the Korkinsky District , and close relatives and friends of Ivan Moskalenko.

Ivan Moskalenko began his work in 1957 as an investigator. He passed all the steps of career development, from 1977 to 1987 headed the MIA Division for the Korkinsky District. Under the supervision of Ivan Moskalenko in 1981 there was built the present building of the MIA Division in Korkino. He was repeatedly elected a people's deputy, and awarded medals for valiant work and impeccable service of 3 degrees, for distinguished service in the protection of public order. In 2009, at the age of 78 years Ivan Moskalenko passed away.

The ceremony ended with laying flowers at the memorial plaque.
