An internationally wanted citizen of Belarus was detained in the Tver Region
Criminal Investigators of the MIA Administration for the city of Tver detained a 39-year-old citizen of the Republic of Belarus, who was internationally wanted for committing property crimes.
A criminal case against the man has been initiated by law enforcement authorities of Belarus. Fearing the criminal prosecution the malefactor fled to the territory of the Russian Federation.
During the operational-search activities the location of the suspect was established, after which he was detained in the city of Tver.
The initiator of the investigation has been notified of the detention. The issue of his extradition to the Republic of Belarus is being considered.
