The fact of sale of counterfeit goods in a store of the city of Armyansk has been identified by officers of economic security and combating the corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The Police found that a pavilion was selling sportswear and shoes of questionable quality, but under famous brand names.
The Entrepreneur's activity was suppressed. There were seized 636 units of various sports products with famous brand logos. Product samples were sent for analysis, which confirmed the fact of counterfeiting. The amount of damage caused to rights holders amounted to about 1.9 million rubles.
A criminal investigation into the fact of illegal use of a brand name has been initiated.
