The MIA Championship in cross-country racing started in the Yaroslavl Region

On the basis of a sports complex Podolino, where there is a racing trail, within three days, there will compete in racing representatives of 67 teams from different regions of the country. In total,  more than 500 representatives of regions - police officers from the Moscow, Leningrad, Kirov, Novgorod, Omsk, Rostov, Murmansk and other regions arrived to the Yaroslavl Region.

The grand opening of the MIA Championship in cross-country racing was attended by Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Sergey Yastrebov, who welcomed the participants and wished them good luck. Acting Chief of the MIA Administration for the Yaroslavl Region Police Colonel Alexander Budnik noted that the Yaroslavl Region is a greatly honored to receive such a high level of competition.

Today the first races have taken place. Athletes demonstrated good results on the track.

On September 19, the final day of the competition, in addition to the races, there will be held a mixed relay race.
