Head of the MIA Regional Administration Viktor Koshelev presented state awards to the policemen for their courage, bravery and selflessness demonstrated in the line of duty.
Chief of Police Station of the village Kukushtan, the Perm Territory, Sergey Kolotygin and detective of the Criminal Investigation Division of the MIA Intermunicipal Division "Chernushinsky" Maxim Zaytsev were awarded Orders of Courage. Medals "For Distinction in Protection of Public Order" were received by inspector of Traffic Police of the MIA General Administration for the Perm Territory Vladimir Chusov and Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department of the MIA Intermunicipal Division "Chernushinsky" Vladimir Baleyevskikh.
The police officers were awarded state awards for the detention of a dangerous criminal. In July 2012, a resident of the village Kalynovka committed a murder of two people. For a few days criminal investigation officers conducted a search for the suspect. The police visited all the settlements, interviewed local residents checked the forests.
Soon, the suspect was found in the woods. Seeing the police, he opened fire with a hunting rifle and wounded Lieutenant-Colonel Sergei Kolotygin. During the detention of the malefactor there was killed a detective of the MIA Intermunicipal Division «Chernushinsky" Dinar Khuzin. Police Senior Lieutenant Dinar Khuzin was awarded the Order of Courage (posthumously).
The malefactor, despite the resistance, was detained. The court sentenced the defendant to a life imprisonment.
