Employees of the Division of Economic Security and Combating the Corruption of the MIA Division "Kotlassky" revealed an illegal logging in the territory Slobodchikovsky rural district forestry.
According to preliminary estimates, the damage from illegal malicious activity was about 19 million rubles, and the volume of illegally logged timber exceeded 3,000 cubic meters.
A 47-year-old individual entrepreneur is suspected of committing the crime. According to the materials of the criminal case, from March to May 2014 the man using a team of workers carried out the illegal felling of fir-trees, pines and birches. Later he sold the illegally logged timber. The Police seized the malefactors' truck, two tractors and several chainsaws.
A criminal case was initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Illegal felling of forest plantations."
