In Syktyvkar Servicemen of Patrol and Inspection Service police Ensign Yuri Sokolov and Junior Sergeant Alexander Ulyashev police received a message on the smoke in one of the hostels. The policeman arrived to the scene. Climbing up to the fourth floor, the servicemen saw a thick smoke coming from one of the hostel rooms.
They began the evacuation of residents. Before the arrival of Emergency servicemen there were evacuated about 20 people. When the police , together with firefighters opened the door of the room from which the smoke came, they found there an unconscious man. He was carried out of the area of smoke and given over to the ambulance brigade.
Thanks to the capable and operative actions of the Patrol and Inspection Service there was prevented the spread of fire in the hostel and its residents were saved.
