On the eve of the Day of Knowledge officers of the MIA Administration for the Amur Region visited the sponsored by them orphanage No18, located in the village of Krestovozdvizhenka of the Konstantinovsky District.
During each visit to the orphanage the police tell the kids about the service in various MIA units . Children of the orphanage were already visited by officers of a special rapid response unit, of a service dog center. This time, the kids were able to learn about the work of forensic experts.
Specialist of the Forensic Center of the MIA Administration for the Amur Region not only spoke about their division, but also demonstrated their suitcase with devices with which an expert goes to the crime scene to collect traces and evidence. The kids demonstrated the highest interest at the moment when a police officer asked them to try getting fingerprints.
In addition, the police conducted for kids of the orphanage a master class on making picture frames out of scrap materials. They made good use of cardboard, paints, napkins and even pasta.
Then the officers talked with the kids about legal literacy, reminded about the rules of road safety, about the way to avoid falling victim to malefactors. And at the end of the meeting they congratulated the children on the coming Day of Knowledge and handed them stationery sets required for classes. In addition, gifts were received by five teenagers who have graduated from this school this year and entered secondary and higher educational institutions. The Police handed to them sets of bed linen, pillows and blankets. Absolutely all of the children received sweet prizes from the Police.
MIA officers were not left without gifts either. Orphans gave their sponsors napkins made with their own hands and showed a small concert. Orphanage director expressed their gratitude to the police for assistance, they give to children and handed a letter of thanks addressed to the Chief of the MIA Administration for the Amur Region, Police Major-General Nikolay Aksenov.
The meeting ended with taking a group photograph as a keepsake.
