The workout was carried out for the residents by Police Sergeant Dmitry Yartsev – international master of sports in judo.
The campaign was supported by the Department for Sports, Culture and Tourism of the Administration of Chelyabinsk and was timed to the All-Russian Athlete Day and the World Judo Championship.
Over 400 persons took part in the event, including about 200 policemen and 200 children training in sports institutions and living in supported children's homes.
Acting Chief of the HR Division of the Russian MIA Administration for Chelyabinsk Lieutenant Colonel of Internal Service Vitaly Pomryasin noted that physical exercises and physical education were very important components in the professional training of policemen.
Dmitry Yartsev showed warm-up exercises to the participants of the campaign: all of them got a boost of energy and good mood.
