Policemen of the Russian MIA General Administration for the Nizhny Novgorod Region ensured safety of the Alfa Future People festival participants and audience. No misdeeds or crimes were committed in the area of the event.
The festival that attracted over 30,000 spectators took place last week-end in the Balakhninsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
To secure the order at the international festival, policemen prepared a plan for protecting public order and organizing road safety that was approved by all the services concerned.
800 policemen were engaged in safety protection of the music festival participants; besides, servicemen of the Internal Troops, voluntary people's guard and about 140 employees of private security companies were involved every day.
Policemen were on duty in the area of the event day and night. During three days the policemen of the Special Purpose Police Unit (OMON), inspectors of the Road Police special unit, children's officers, public order protection services, policemen of the operations units, employees of private security agencies, as well as voluntary people's guard correctly stopped attempts of some spectators to violate public order.
314 offenders were detained during the event.
