A 22-year-old native of Sao Paulo was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment in a penal institution.

The accused is found guilty of an offense under article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Storage and distribution of pornographic materials depicting minors using information and communication network" Internet ".

It was found that in 2012 - 2013 a 22-year-old student at the "International relations" faculty of a university accessed the Internet looking for pornographic photos and videos of children. He systematized the obtained files and stored them in the memory of his laptop. Then the young man began to exchange the materials with Internet users. There are about 80 e-mail addresses to which the convicted person has sent the materials. At the search of the student's computer hard disc the police found more than 1,000 photos and videos of pornographic nature involving children.

Within the frame of the case there was carried out a comprehensive examination by art experts, which confirmed that the electronic files found in the memory of the laptop belonging to the student, contained pornographic material involving children under the age of 14.
