At the opening of the exhibition Oleg Nikolaev told the audience about the life of Gennady Yatsenko. Gennady inherited craving for beauty from his father and began painting during his school years, and then graduated from the Lvov art school. When he served in the army, he was engaged in decorating activities, worked as an artist-designer at a factory, but then suddenly changed his life - nearly thirty years of service he gave to service in internal affairs bodies. And, after retirement, he again took up the brush and for some years already he pleases art lovers with his works.

We think that new fans of his art will now appear in the Shimsk District.
