Several weeks ago, the Police seized more than a hundred objects of antiquities that were allegedly stolen from private homes, located in the village of Perhachevo and on island territories of the Primorsk District. Among the curiosities - icons, old samovars, coal irons, bratinas and other household items.
In the Kholmogorsk and Primorsk districts there were stopped two vehicles in which the malefactors tried to take the rarities outside the region. Another part of the antiquities were found by the Police during searches in several garages in different areas of Arkhangelsk.
Soon, the Police identified and arrested three alleged malefactors, Tsiglomen villagers, two of them were previously repeatedly convicted. The detainees confessed to committing several burglaries in the Primorsk District.
The Police also,detained the alleged customer of the crime, who, according to operative information, planned to sell the antiquities.
At the moment, more than a half of the seized items have been identified by their owners. The Police is identifying other victims.
