Private Security patrol crew in Nizhnekamsk received a message about smoke in one of the hostels.
Private Security policemen arrived to the scene simultaneously with the fire brigade. Hostel residents who went out the building to the street informed the police that on the upper floors of a burning house there might be people. Police Junior Lieutenant Ilnour Akhmetshin and Police Sergeant Major Dmitry Spiridonov went into the building.
The police officers knocked on the doors of apartment, checking whether there were any people left in them. They heard a cry for help. It turned out that on the shared balcony on the 8th floor there was a woman with a year old child. Ilnour Akhmetshin helped them out to the street.
Dmitry Spiridonov found in one of the hostel rooms a five year old boy who was staying there without parents. Private Security officer carried him into the street.
As was established later, that the smoke was caused by a fire of faulty wiring in one of the outbuildings of the hostel.
