“Officers of the MIA of Russia Main Directorate of Economic Security and Combatting Corruption, together with colleagues from the Kursk Region, suppressed the activities of a workshop for the production of falsified alcohol-containing products.
It was established that the illegal production and storage facilities were located in the industrial zones of the city of Kursk and the Kursk Region. The police found an automatic line with a capacity of 10,000 bottles per hour, more than 240 thousand bottles of alcohol, over 77 thousand liters of alcohol-containing liquid, more than 175 thousand federal special stamps with signs of counterfeiting, components, and also a heavy truck with a semitrailer which contained ready for sale alcoholic beverages.
On this fact the investigators initiated criminal cases on the grounds of the crime stipulated by part 6 of Article 171 of the RF Criminal Code.
The implementation of a complex of operational-search measures for decriminalization of the alcohol industry continues,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
