The day before, during the search operations, the drug police detained a 23-year-old Tyumen woman in an attempted large-scale sale of narcotic substances.
Police officers found that the suspect was distributing drugs in a non-contact manner, using so-called caches. In the presence of witnesses, during personal search of the resident of Tyumen, convolutions with presumably single doses of narcotic substance were found and seized. In the course of further work, law enforcement officers found a cache in a forest near the village of Uspenka, Tyumen Region, from where the girl had to pick up the narcotic substance for further distribution in the city. Forensic experts have found that the drug seized was mephedrone with a total weight of over 100 grams.
At the moment the suspect is remanded in custody pursuant to Article 91 of the Russian Federation Criminal Procedure Code. A criminal case has been instituted against her on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of Article 30, part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This article presumes a punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 20 years.
