“Criminal investigation officers of the MIA of Russia Administration for the city of Domodedovo detained a native of one of the republics of Transcaucasia on suspicion of committing a robbery attack on store employees.
According to available information, an attacker whose face was hidden under a mask, burst into the outlet on the Gagarin Street. Threatening a representative of the supermarket staff with a gun-like object, the unknown person demanded the key to the safe, in which the money was kept. Having stolen about 400 thousand rubles, he disappeared from the scene of the crime.
After studying the recordings of CCTV cameras, police officers detained the suspect in the Krasnodar Territory. It was established that the unlawful act was committed by a former employee of that store.
Investigative Unit of the MIA of Russia Administration for Domodedovo initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In respect of the detainee, the court selected a preventive measure in the form of remand in custody,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
