“Operatives of the MIA of Russia Division for the Strogino District of Moscow detained four suspected of a robbery attack at a pharmacy.
It was established that two masked men broke into a pharmacy located on the Tallinnskaya Street in Moscow and, threatening the pharmacist with a knife, demanded to open a safe and a cash register. After the victim fulfilled those requirements the offender took the money, as well as potent drugs and disappeared.
Based on this fact, Investigator of the MIA of Russia Division for the Strogino District of the city of Moscow initiated a criminal case under Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
As a result of operational-search measures, the police found out that two more accomplices were waiting for the offenders on the street. Currently, all the four suspects have been detained, Placement to custody was selected by court as the preventive measure against them.
There is reason to believe that the defendants may be involved in similar crimes. The preliminary criminal investigation is ongoing,” said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
