In the Voronezh Region policemen of the Road police checkpoint seized more than 9 kilograms of heroin
At the stationary road police checkpoint located at the 520-kilometer of the M-4 "Don", highway employees of the MIA of Russia Department in the Voronezh Region in collaboration with colleagues from the regional FSB seized a large quantity of drugs.
During the examination of a SUV with number plates of the City of Moscow, driven by a 47-year-old man, there have been seized 19 packages with a beige-color substance.
The drugs were hidden inside the cabin. Several briquettes were found as well in the engine compartment of the car.
The investigation established that the packages contained heroin with a total weight of 9 kilograms 300 grams.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact of illegal drug trafficking.
