Employees of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Russian Ministry of internal Affairs extradited a citizen of the Republic of Poland, Vladimir Grujic at the "Sheremetyevo" airport to the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia.
The Extradited was sentenced in absentia in 2010 by the Supreme Court of Belgrade to three years' imprisonment on charges of drugs’ possession.
However, he managed to escape from the Serbian competent authorities, and he was put on the Interpol international wanted list.
The convict hid in the territory of the Russian Federation, where he performed a robbery and was sentenced by the Domodedovsky City Court of the Moscow Region to 3 years' imprisonment (Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of Russia).
After serving the sentence for the crime committed in the territory of Russia, Vladimir Grujic was conveyed to law enforcement officials of Serbia.
