“Officers of the Division for Economic Security and Combating the Corruption of the MIA of Russia Administration for the city of Surgut established the circumstances of storage of unmarked alcoholic products.
As a result of operational search activities, police officers with the participation of the Rosgvardia revealed warehouse premises in the Sosnovaya and Promyshlennaya streets, where there were more than 43 thousand bottles of unmarked alcoholic beverages worth in total about 10 million rubles. There were also identified the stores to which these products were supplied for further sale.
A criminal case was initiated against the director and two employees of the warehouse by the Inquiry Division of the MIA of Russia Administration for the city of Surgut on the grounds of the crime provided for by part 5 of Article 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. With respect to the suspects a preventive measure has been chosen in the form of a subscription of their own recognizance and appropriate behavior.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
