On May 10-12, the XV European Judo Championship among police officers took place in Gyor (Hungary). Over 160 athletes from 16 countries fought for the medals. Dynamo athlete Stanislav Semenov fought in the national team of the Russian MIA in the weight category of 81 kg. In this weight category there were 25 participants. Semenov held five fights with representatives of the teams of Slovakia, Germany, Belarus and Poland, winning the bronze award. The athlete was prepared by coach Eduard Dzutsev.
In team competitions in the wall-to-wall format the Russian team won the second place, losing to the German team.
