“Officers of the Kuzbass Linear Administration on Transport of the MIA of Russia, together with the FSB Department in the Kemerovo Region, carried out operational-search measures in the regional center to curb the illegal production and circulation of alcoholic beverages,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
As a result of a special operation in six warehouses in the city of Kemerovo, 5 process plants, 33 tons of alcohol-containing liquid, 6.9 tons of counterfeit alcohol (vodka, brandy, whiskey) under well-known brands, caps, labels and rolls with fake federal special stamps were found.
On this fact, four criminal cases were initiated under part 1 of Article 171.3 of the RF Criminal Code, two criminal cases under part 2 of Article 171.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.Measures to decriminalize the turnover of alcohol products continue.
