“The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, General of the Police of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev, visited the Stavropol branch of the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, where he met with faculty, cadets and students. The Chief of the Department got acquainted with the educational-methodical base and the museum of the departmental university, where he made an entry in the book of special guests,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
Museum staff told Vladimir Kolokoltsev about interesting facts from the 30-year history of the establishment of the educational institution from high courses of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs for training district police officers to the Stavropol branch of the Krasnodar University of the Russian MIA, offered to his attention stands with materials about the participation of personnel in peacekeeping missions and activities of public order protection during the FIFA 2018 World Cup.
“Then the Minister went to the Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Shpakovsky District of the Stavropol Territory, located in the town of Mikhailovsk.
In the duty-unit, Vladimir Kolokoltsev heard a report by the responsible chief, spoke with the staff in charge of receiving and registering reports of crimes, drawing their attention to the need for an objective, comprehensive and timely consideration of the applicants’ statements.
Then the Chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia examined the premises for the detainees in the temporary detention center, familiarized himself with organization of catering and medical services for this category of persons.
In the District Division for Migration Issues, Vladimir Kolokoltsev was shown the work of a modern electronic queue system and of a passport issuing complex. The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation pointed out the need for strict compliance with the deadlines for the provision of public services and with temporary standards for serving the population,” the spokesperson for the agency said.
