“The Inquiry Division of the MIA of Russia Division for the Vysokogorsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for by part 2 of Article 245 of the RF Criminal Code.
In early April, a woman resident of Kazan contacted the police and reported on the killing of six dogs in her shelter for homeless animals located in the Vysokogorsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan. Police officers who arrived at the scene found the bodies of animals with gunshot wounds.
During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, police officers take measures to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as those involved in the crime,” said the official representative of the MIA of Russia Irina Volk.
