Today, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation – Chief of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Lieutenant-General of Justice Aleksandr Romanov introduced to the personnel the Chief of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Kurgan Region Colonel of Police Dmitry Svinov, appointed to the position by Presidential Decree dated April 1, 2019.
The event was attended by representatives of public authorities, law enforcement agencies in the region and the Council of Veterans of Internal Affairs bodies.
Introducing the appointed Chief, Aleksandr Romanov noted that Dmitry Svinov for 25 years of service in the internal affairs bodies had grown from a police precinct officer to Deputy Chief of the Administration - Chief of the Police. The Deputy Minister expressed confidence that many years of experience and skills of work in senior positions would help Dmitry Svinov in ensuring a high level of organization of the activities of the regional MIA Administration.
During his trip to the Kurgan Region, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Romanov met with the leadership and personnel of the preliminary investigation bodies of the Investigation Administration of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Kurgan Region, where he familiarized himself with the conditions of service of the personnel.
Dmitry Vyacheslavovich Svinov was born on December 17, 1970 in Tula. In 2001, he graduated from the Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with a degree in Law.
He began his service in the internal affairs bodies as a local militia precinct officer of the Kirov subdivision of militia of the Internal Affairs Administration for the Proletarsky District of Tula.
From 1995 to 2014, he grew from a precinct officer to the Chief of the division the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Shchekinsky District of the Tula Region.
In May 2014, he was appointed deputy chief of police (for operational work) of the Internal Affairs Administration for the North-Western Administrative District of the MIA of Russia GA for the city of Moscow.
From 2015 to 2019, he served in the position of Deputy Chief of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Tver Region - Chief of Police.
